RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Tuesday laid foundation stone of Younas Khan Sports Complex in Miranshah during his visit to North Waziristan Agency (NWA), where he spent his day with troops and tribal elders, said the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to a statement issued by ISPR, the COAS was briefed in detail by the formation commander about progress of ongoing operation Zarb-e-Azb, return of TDPs and resettlement works initiated by army in the area
